Destin Real Estate for Sale

Residential properties are available, but can go quickly in the sought after neighborhoods. High-end real estate includes a variety of architectural styles; many Gulf front homes sell for several million dollars. More affordable homes and condos can be found in the mid-300 range on up. Naturally, tourism plays a large role in Destin’s economy. There is a large quantity of hotels, motels, high-rise condominiums as well as a variety of vacation rentals for any budget. Its pleasing family orientated atmosphere is suited for those that like to be near every beach living amenity. There are several parks and recreational facilities, including a number of sport complexes, 13 public beach accesses, world-class golf courses, including Kelly Plantation Golf Course, Emerald Bay Golf Club and Seascape Golf, top restaurants and a variety of shopping opportunities. Several boat launches are also located here as well.

The focal point of Destin is the Harbor Boardwalk renovated and completed in 2012. Stretching over a quarter of a mile in Destin Harbor, you will find a well thought out design with lighting, seating, landscaping and new decking. It also provides easy access to restaurants, water activities and fishing excursions. The boardwalk is the home to many popular events, including the annual Destin Seafood Festival as well as the Destin Fishing Rodeo.

Visitors and homeowners alike have easy access to their favorite beaches through The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, located only 21 miles away from the center of Destin. The airport designation is ECP, and is the first international airport built in the U.S. since 2011. For those desiring a private airport, Destin Fort Walton Airport is within the city limits.

Seaside Real Estate & Amenities

As part of an inaugural New Urban community, Seaside is designed with traditional principles in mind. This includes not only an active city center with a prominent cultural and civic presence but also a town with bike paths and walking trails, which provides access to all points of interest within Seaside easily accessible. Yet this beach town was developed with the look and feel of an older village, as if it has been around for decades. It was not intended to resemble a modern tract home development, yet the included amenities are top of the line.

When not at the beach or enjoying one of the many outdoor sports activities, residents can visit the twice-weekly Farmer’s Markets, summer concert series, Stories by the Sea, as well as outdoor movies, holiday parades and a host of other activities.

Visitors and homeowners alike have easy access to their favorite beaches through the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. It is only 30 miles to Seaside. The airport designation is ECP, and is the first international airport built in the U.S. since 2011.
