For dining options, residents can head to nearby Watercolor or any of the other bustling communities in South Walton for dining and shopping opportunities. There’s also a counter service area restaurant, the Dunesider Grill, open during the spring and summer at the larger pool in Watersound.
 
Watersound is conveniently reachable by car or by plane, as visitors and homeowners can access their favorite beaches through the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. The airport designation is ECP, and it is only 31 miles from Watersound. It is also the first international airport built in the U.S. since 2011.
