Blake Morar began his career in real estate as a 23-year-old with just $1,500 in his pocket. Today, he co-owns Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty, home to 111 full-time sales associates and the No. 1 brokerage along Florida’s Emerald Coast with a 2024 sales volume topping $1.4 billion.
 
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Blake earned a degree in marketing from Louisiana Tech University in 1996 before relocating to Destin and discovering his passion for real estate. In 2014, his Destin Real Estate Company affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty, affording clients both the local expertise they value and the global reach of a worldwide brand.
 
To date, Blake has completed more than $1.5 billion in career sales. In 2024, he led his team, the Morar Group, to a sales volume exceeding $93 million. Over his 29-year career, Blake has built his reputation on putting the client first and never compromising standards. He also extends this commitment to his community, serving on the board of the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.
 
A graduate of the Harvard Program on Negotiation, Blake has been formally trained in guiding conversations, uncovering hidden value, and navigating high-stakes deals with clarity and precision. As Harvard teaches, “Negotiation is not about winning arguments, but about creating agreements that work.” This philosophy is at the heart of Blake’s approach: protecting his clients from costly missteps and ensuring they maximize every opportunity. Having witnessed agents unintentionally cost their clients hundreds of thousands of dollars, Blake knows that in real estate, it truly matters who you work with.
 
Blake particularly enjoys forming genuine connections with clients and understanding their goals, combining that personal insight with local expertise, strategic negotiation, and proven experience. Outside of work, he can often be found paddleboarding, biking, capturing the coast with drone photography, or exploring the beaches with his two sons, Hank and Gus.
