5 Tips on How to Throw a Festive Backyard BBQ

5 Tips on How to Throw a Festive Backyard BBQ

4th of July is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate this Independence Day than with a backyard BBQ! We've got some tips and tricks for hosting the perfect patriotic party!

Sparkler Party Favors

What’s the 4th of July without sparklers?! Sparklers are great party favors for people of all ages. Grab a few bundles and tie up in a red, white or blue ribbon to hand out to your friends and family.

Patriotic Décor

Celebrate this holiday in style! Streamers, paper lanterns, balloons, pin wheels -- and of course American flags are all festive, simple décor options to dress up your backyard BBQ!

Games

Entertain guests with some fun interactive games like corn hole, volleyball, or ladder golf. If you want to DIY your own backyard games try making a ring toss out of old glass bottles and a crate, or you can grab  a can of spray paint to create your very own twister game.

Festive Foods

Grill up some grub that everyone will enjoy! BBQ chicken, hot dogs, corn on the cob or black bean burgers (for all the vegans out there)! Don't forget the patriotic desserts!

Fireworks Show

Most importantly, make sure all of your guests have a great view of the fireworks show in the evening! Bring out blankets and lawn chairs so your guests can snuggle up under the stars to enjoy the view.
