Seacrest Beach

At its heart is the 12,000-square-foot lagoon pool—the largest on 30A—surrounded by shops, dining, and the lively Peddlers Pavilion.

Welcome to Seacrest Beach

Conveniently located between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, Seacrest Beach is very popular with vacationers and those seeking a second home on the eastern edge of Scenic 30A. The community as a whole is known for its Florida beach cottage-style homes, with clapboard siding, unique porch rail pickets, and colorful trim and shutters. However, newer neighborhoods feature Gulf-front estate homes, as well as condominiums. Among these newer areas is the neighborhood of Seacrest Beach.

Seacrest Beach is centered around a 12,000-square-foot lagoon-style swimming pool, available for use by all neighborhood residents and their guests. The lush, oasis-like pool is the largest swimming pool in South Walton County, and serves as a focal point for the surrounding neighborhoods.

Water’s Edge at Seacrest Beach is a popular gated neighborhood of single-family homes and home sites, while the Villas at Sunset Beach is a popular gated condominium complex adjacent to, and sharing the amenities of, Seacrest Beach. The Village of South Walton, with Charleston-inspired architecture, is a newer development of condominiums, shops and restaurants.

Peddlers Pavilion serves as the town square and heart of the entire community. Along with being home to a bike rental shop, eco-tour company, pizza restaurant and other businesses, the pavilion offers live music six nights a week during the summer.

Seacrest Beach Amenities & Real Estate for Sale

The Seacrest Beach community used to have a reputation for being "quiet" due to limited commercial development; however, new boutiques and restaurants have set up shop in recent years, and numerous other shopping and dining experiences are only a short walk or bike ride away in the nearby communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach.

Among Seacrest Beach boutique shops are LMN, a woman's New York City-inspired fashion wear and accessory shop, and Ophelia, a high-end swimwear store. The Wickey Gallery has become noted for its offerings of stunning works by local artists, while Arriaga Originals is making a name for itself with its one-of-a-kind silver and gold jewelry. Among restaurants that have become highly popular are La Cocina, a gourmet Mexican restaurant, and Lola Coastal Italian, a family locally owned restaurant serving always in season creative dishes.

As with all south Walton beach communities, Seacrest Beach is popular in large part due to its sugar white sand and turquoise waters. But Seacrest Beach is also home to the highest sand dunes along 30A, and abuts Camp Creek Lake, which is considered the least developed and most scenic dune lake in Florida.

Visitors and homeowners alike have easy access to their favorite beaches through The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport only 21 miles northeast of Seacrest Beach in Panama City Beach, or the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport just under an hour away.

Seaside Real Estate & Amenities

As part of an inaugural New Urban community, Seaside is designed with traditional principles in mind. This includes not only an active city center with a prominent cultural and civic presence but also a town with bike paths and walking trails, which provides access to all points of interest within Seaside easily accessible. Yet this beach town was developed with the look and feel of an older village, as if it has been around for decades. It was not intended to resemble a modern tract home development, yet the included amenities are top of the line.

When not at the beach or enjoying one of the many outdoor sports activities, residents can visit the twice-weekly Farmer’s Markets, summer concert series, Stories by the Sea, as well as outdoor movies, holiday parades and a host of other activities.

Visitors and homeowners alike have easy access to their favorite beaches through the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. It is only 30 miles to Seaside. The airport designation is ECP, and is the first international airport built in the U.S. since 2011.
